Call for Symposium
The XXVIII International Congress of Entomology (ICE 2028) Scientific Programme Committee is pleased to invite you to submit Symposium proposals for the Congress.
Symposium proposals must be submitted online for review.
The following information will be required for your submission:
- Suggested symposium title.
- Symposium chairperson or co-chairperson names.
- A brief description or overview of your symposium.
- The section in which your symposium would be best suited (please view the sections below).
- List the names of at least 8 speakers for the symposium.
- Short description of your experience relevant to organising this symposium, or list previous symposia organised.
The congress programme will comprise 20 Sections, namely:

Section 9 – Immunology and Pathology
Section 10 – Insect-Microbe Interactions
Section 11 – Insects as Food, Feed and Pollinators
Section 12 – Medical and Veterinary Entomology
Section 13 – Pest Management
Section 14 – Invasive insects
Section 15 – Pesticides, GM Crops, Resistance and Toxicology
Section 16 – Physiology, Neurobiology and Molecular Biology
Section 17 – Social Insects
Section 18 – Systematics, Phylogeny, and Morphology
Section 19 – Special issue: Insects and Culture
Section 20 – Young entomologists / Thoughtleaders
